Privacy Policy
Your Privacy is Our Priority
VidSpeed is designed with privacy at its core. We believe your videos and data belong to you, and only you.
What We Collect
Nothing. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data or video files.
- No video uploads to servers
 - No user accounts or registration
 - No tracking cookies
 - No analytics that identify you

How Video Processing Works
All video processing happens entirely in your web browser using WebAssembly technology (FFmpeg.js).
Technical Details: When you select a video file, it remains on your device. Your browser processes it using FFmpeg.js (a WebAssembly port of FFmpeg). The processed video is generated locally and saved directly to your device.
Third-Party Services
VidSpeed uses FFmpeg.js, which is loaded from a CDN (Content Delivery Network) when you first use the tool:
- FFmpeg.js WebAssembly files: Downloaded from unpkg.com CDN on first use
 - These files are cached in your browser for future use
 - No video data or personal information is sent to the CDN
 - Only the tool's code files are downloaded

Data Storage
Any settings or preferences you configure are stored locally in your browser using:
- localStorage: For user preferences (e.g., default speed settings)
 - IndexedDB: For processing history (if you choose to use this feature)

This data never leaves your browser and is under your complete control. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Your Rights
Since we don't collect your data, there's nothing for us to delete, modify, or share. You have complete control over any data stored locally in your browser.
Changes to This Policy
If we make any changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page with the new information.
Questions?
If you have any questions about our privacy practices, please review the How It Works page for technical details about how VidSpeed operates.
Bottom Line: Your videos stay on your device. We never see them, store them, or transmit them anywhere.
