When you need it: Matching a 60 fps edit timeline or a platform that expects 60 fps, so a 30 fps phone clip can sit next to gameplay or sport footage without a rate change mid-project.

Questions people ask
How do I convert 30 fps to 60 fps?
Choose your video in the tool on this page (60 fps is already selected), press “Convert frame rate” and download the MP4. It runs in your browser, so the file is not uploaded.
Will 30 fps converted to 60 fps look smoother?
Not by itself. Without motion interpolation no new movement is created: frames are repeated, so motion looks the same as the 30 fps original. “Blend frames” mixes neighbouring pictures, which can soften judder on uneven conversions but adds slight ghosting.
Will the video get shorter or longer?
No. Frame-rate conversion keeps the duration and the speed. To slow a 30 fps clip down instead, use the slow motion maker.
How long is one frame at 30 and 60 fps?
At 30 fps each frame lasts 33.33 ms; at 60 fps, 16.67 ms (1000 ÷ frame rate).
