When you need it: Placing 24 fps material in a 60 fps timeline, for example film clips inside a gameplay video.
Because 60 is not a whole multiple of 24, some frames are shown more often than others. On slow camera pans that uneven cadence can look like a faint stutter; switching on Blend frames under More options softens it.

Questions people ask
How do I convert 24 fps to 60 fps?
Choose your video in the tool on this page (60 fps is already selected), press “Convert frame rate” and download the MP4. It runs in your browser, so the file is not uploaded.
Will 24 fps converted to 60 fps look smoother?
Not by itself. Without motion interpolation no new movement is created: frames are repeated, so motion looks the same as the 24 fps original. “Blend frames” mixes neighbouring pictures, which can soften judder on uneven conversions but adds slight ghosting.
Will the video get shorter or longer?
No. Frame-rate conversion keeps the duration and the speed. To slow a 24 fps clip down instead, use the slow motion maker.
How long is one frame at 24 and 60 fps?
At 24 fps each frame lasts 41.67 ms; at 60 fps, 16.67 ms (1000 ÷ frame rate).
